Birth Charts, otherwise known as Natal Charts, Horoscope maps, and wheels are graphical presentations of the different positions of all the planets at the time you were born and in the place you were born.

Astrologers believe that these positions of the planets in the sky may affect nearly every aspect of a man’s life. When astrologers use the word “planets”, generally they are referring to Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. The Sun, Moon, and planets are located on a circle known in as the ecliptic plane. Because the planets are located on this circle, we can refer to the distance between the 2 planets by the number of degrees that separate them. According to astrologers, a distance of 180 degrees between two planets causes the astrological influence to “mix together” and affect the person. Other distances that cause the same effect include 0, 60, 90, and 120 degrees. Each of these angles is called an aspect. Some astrologers use many other aspects as well.
