Leading astrologers have made dire predictions for chief minister BS Yeddyurappa. While the end-result forecast is varying, there’s uncanny similarity in the analyses which, to sum up, say that things are too hot for the embattled leader.
Niranjan Babu, an international consultant in vedic astrology and son of famed astrologer BV Raman, told DNA after studying Yeddyurappa’s birth chart: “I have analysed the situation from both astrology and vaastu points of view, and I do not see a comfort lining for him”.
“Planetary and directional energies ruling wisdom and sane thinking, zeal and enthusiasm, relationships and rulers have absolutely no strength.It is also seen that the weak lord of the rising sign is with lord of exile and is directly viewed by the planet of deception, which is with weak lord of siblings. With such an agitated assortment of malefic energies, the CM’s situation is too brittle to his discomfort,” Babu explained.
Another astrologer, Jaya Srinivasan, said, “As all his planets are found in weak position and worse, he faces a two-planetary ‘parivarthan yoga’ (two planets occupying each other’s house); the next six days are delicate for him.”
Jaya Srinivasan said the two possible remedial measures to save the situation are:visit and offer puja in a powerful temple in Bangalore (which he did not name) and, other is to change two more portfolios to offset parivarthan yoga.
Dr Krishna Kumar, president, Bharat Jyothish Sansthan, and head of astrological courses at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan said, “Yeddyurappa’s professional lord, Sun, is debilitated. Mars has alsobeen rendered weak. If he survives November 16, he will have hope, and even then, troubles will continue to haunt him till March.”
Y Bhaskar Shetty is equally vocal about the CM’s bad time but he foresees the leader riding out the trouble eventually. “Rahu (Dragon tail) entered his ‘Surya dasha’ on June 20, 2008. This is a trying time for anybody. Rahu will release Surya on July 8, 2010. Till then, Yeddyurappa will undergo a series of problems, including loss of public image, loss of wealth, diseases and snake ‘dosha’. But his Surya dasha will save him and he will overcome the trouble if he is wary and takes remedial measures,” he forecast.
Shetty, astrologer to external affairs minister SM Krishna, said Yeddyurappa’s problems are accentuated because a Brahmin has done some plotting.
